With the acquisition of another defender, the Florida Panthers have placed defender Jon Merrill on the block. Merrill has a very reasonable salary at $2,000,000 and carries some solid ratings at 84 DF, 56 PA, 77 CK.
Could be a nice #4-5 for a team looking to add a defensively oriented blueliner.
