For the next couple years, Gallagher quite easily. Unique player that makes every line better, and is a better play driver and similar scorer at ES. Huberdeau is a good player, but he doesn't really bring anything unique to the table and is only really better on the PP. That's important too, but not as much when he's not the type of elite PP player that significantly moves the needle. The only thing with Gallagher is hes's the type of player who will likely fade fast in his 30s

Huberdeau, this shouldn't be close.

Why? Huberdeau is hardly a "complimentary player," he just gets no attention because he plays for Florida. He has 147 points in his last 167 games, since the beginning of 2016-17. Gallagher wouldn't crack the majority of NHL first lines.

I voted for Huberdeau, but I disagree with you on it not being even close. You could have said the bolded for Lindholm before this season, no? Would you take him over Huberdeau or is it not even close for them too?

Gallagher has never had offensively gifted players to play off of, except for Pacioretty and Galchenyuk, and neither of those are offensive dynamos either. Maybe he elevates his game even further playing with Barkov.
