Artemi panarin has been a consistent offensive force regardless of linemates, with just a slight decline in his point finishes since leaving Chicago. But is now tracking to have his best season yet.
Point finishes: 10th, 12th, 20th, 17th in points
Huberdeau is 2 years younger and emerged as an elite offensive player last year, finishing 12th in points and just like Panarin, is tracking to have his best season yet.
Who is the better player now? And more interestingly, who would you take going forward? Huberdeau is 2 years younger than Panarin but there hasn't been a prolonged stretch in which he produced as he does now without Barkov, and only now has he started producing elite numbers. It remains to be seen if he'll produce as consistently as Panarin does.
