Huberdeau is 2 years younger and emerged as an elite offensive player last year, finishing 12th in points and just like Panarin, is tracking to have his best season yet.

Who is the better player now? And more interestingly, who would you take going forward? Huberdeau is 2 years younger than Panarin but there hasn't been a prolonged stretch in which he produced as he does now without Barkov, and only now has he started producing elite numbers. It remains to be seen if he'll produce as consistently as Panarin does.

I'm big fan of Huberdeau, and think he is pretty underrated. Even by Florida Panther fans. But this is Panarin who is elite, and another level up from Huberdeau imo.
