He's a good winger but if its a winger that we were trading for in the end..For sergachev we couldve done a decent package trade and got a bigger star.

To be fair, Kovy had his 95pts season at the age of 27....at 26 he had 66pts....prior to that never been over 58

So far Drouin at 23 years old is .58 ppg and kovy at the same age was .62

I have a hard time reading comparisons between Drouin and Kovalev, it's like comparing DD to Malkin.

Sure will......... loved Naslund, Koivu, Petrov, Kovalev.....Malakhov a little bit less, but you know, cant love them all

He is not even at Gomez's level (age 20-30) yet. My approach with Drouin is to try and measure if he can mature and get stronger in his mid to late 20's. That's where we potentially see him reach his potential.

But to answer your question, no, I would hate him as much whatever country hed be from. He plays like a junior, acts like a junior and sounds like a junior.

Drouin seems lost out there. He tries to hard to force the play instead and should take advantage of his teamates more. I'm still hoping he can turn it around but Julien has to hold him accountable for his play...

He really is playing like a young star lately!!! I was harsh on him early in the season but never stopped to elevate his play, he is really involved in the game, wow does he look good right now! Domi as well, they are so great together, finally something worth watching games...

Agreed. When he's on his game he doesn't try to dangle the entire team. He should keep it that way.

Galchenyuk never dominated a period like drouin just did in the second period.

A lot more spectacular too. I hope that he will be more consistant because when he is on his game ...he is dangerous.
