I'm still interested. Glad to see you're going to cut down the number of teams, I think that's the only way this thing survives.

about doing a mini-draft, I'd rather just leave those players out... It isn't a perfect solution, but if we do a mini-draft I think the people drafting later in the first round would be at a pretty big disadvantage.

one other suggestion- if somebody has skipped picks they haven't made up yet, and their turn comes up again, I think they should be skipped immediately rather than given another day to slow things up.

Not a bad idea, but I think it's best to do a mini-draft with a zig-zag format, although if people have a problem with this, then we'll get rid of it, whatever...

I see no problem with skipping people who have skipped picks to make up already.

We're at 11 teams... If we have a shortage (which we probably will), ofhdhdy, you may take another team... In fact, I ask that you would please take another team...

I'll stay in...we've gotten far enough, let's keep going. This is kind of why doing these 30-team drafts are tricky. People lose interest when they have to wait for their turn. If you do a 20-team or fewer, the turns come up much quicker. Of course, you can't always trust everyone that join these drafts...a lot of flaky people on the board.

Okay, we're at fifteen teams, a perfect number imo... I'll try to get a mini-draft organized soon...

Sorry "Jon Burke"....Iam still interested in the draft but I guess Iam too late, I had no idea that you changed your name, and I was looking for the new thread to come up with Danrik in the title.
Also Iam not sure alot of people are aware that the "The Mock Draft Board" moved to the bottom of the page.
Sorry for the inconvience.

P.S. Good luck with the rest of your selections BOYS!!!

Sorry bud, but it was time for some action. The draft had slowed down significantly and cutting teams seemed necessary. Maybe you could convince Shoalzie to part with one of his teams.

The Canucks are pleased to select defenseman Chris Pronger. The Canucks are very happy to get Pronger as it will significantly upgrade their defense corps. Pronger will be a candidate to wear the 'C' and will pair up alongside Scott Stevens to form a dominant defense pairing.

The Senators are pleased to select right winger Milan Hejduk, which will give them a top notch right winger to skate alongside Naslund and Koivu to make a very potent offensive line.
