The stephan signing is interesting given Smith and Ellis were already slated for IOwa. stephan-Maybe to EChl or loaned out? for prospect lovers stars have signed a ton of their top prospects, many who saw limited ice time like Polak Erikkson. Iowa will be fun for prospect lovers to watch

Getting to answer my own question-Stars intend to keep Stephan in Europe this year. He had to be signed under the new rules. Lundqvist and all draftees prior to 2002 draft are now UFAs.

Edmonton also has a ton of their top prospects going there, which is kind of sad, seeing as how they won't be getting the icetime they need with all these Dallas signings...

I assume you meant to say edmonton and yeah it kind of sucks. We did that last year, sent prospects to two different teams, neither of which obviously cares about their actual development. IMO an NHL team that doesnt run their on AHL team is asking for trouble.
