Panthers Reaching New Heights in FO Circle Under Paul McFarlandI really hope we pick up the Florida guy. I know he had a lot better pieces to work with with the Panthers, but still.

Nope. He was part of the group brought in to replace the fired Allen group.I can't look it up right now, but did he coach alongside Scott Allen by chance? Good way to get him over here
Who?Man if they hold on to him for another season that would lose all good faith/credit they may have gained to this point. It would be lunacy.
He's available. Let's get this done!Well let's hope Q wants to bring his guys in, because this looks like a great fit.
Sorry should have specified! Convo kinda moved forward before I hit submit but I meant the Yotes and MaClean haha!Who?
Yeah, they gotta fire his ass!Sorry should have specified! Convo kinda moved forward before I hit submit but I meant the Yotes and MaClean haha!
SOMEBODY CALL SECURITY AND MAKE SURE THAT NOBODY LETS SCOTT ALLEN LEAVE THE BUILDING BEFORE HE HAS A NEW CONTRACT!!Scott Allen’s contract is up. Chayka has said he wants him back.
MacLean still has a year left but who knows??
Yes. Damn. How is this not done already?SOMEBODY CALL SECURITY AND MAKE SURE THAT NOBODY LETS SCOTT ALLEN LEAVE THE BUILDING BEFORE HE HAS A NEW CONTRACT!!
Eh. I think they just needed to say something, and they knew it. I 'd like to think he's gone because it's an obvious decision looking in from the outside, but I don't think Morgan's blurb means anything one way or another. I also don't care if they keep him with the caveat he keeps his hands off the PP, and that they bring someone in for the PP and offensive development. The fact that they were non-committal to MacLean's future is probably a good sign he's toast.
I see this as most likely. They hire McFarland to run PP and forwards and keep MacLean as the “communicator” that Morgan referenced Tocchet may want to delegate some of his “communication” responsibilities to. Haha. Mascot!!!Eh. I think they just needed to say something, and they knew it.
