1. I don't think anyone here cares about that title
2. I don't think any other GM would have done much better so far given the resources Chayka has. Quite a few would have done markedly worse.

Chayka is active (which is partially why he's popular) but at some point we can't rely upon trades to improve. We need development, above average drafting, and hopefully a bit of luck in the draft lottery.

I like Chayka. In my mind he has only made a few questionable hires/moves. That's rare these days. He's a winner in my mind, just made some human errors.

The Domi trade is looking really bad. The Tocchet signing is questionable. He has not succeeded in adding legit talent on the roster.

If we're not in the playoffs or a bubble team in April, then yes he needs to go.
