It's just the timing seems odd. They got two of the big fish signed in free agency, appear to be on the up and up, and are finally putting the Boston trade fiasco behind them. I would have thought after the "build a championship team" and "We're going to steal Knicks fans" comments and the franchise beginning to do both of those things, he'd want to stick around.
But I guess at the price the team is selling for, I get it.
