It's about time somebody steps up and shows the Knights that expansion teams don't make the SCF.

Vegas is a nice story, but they really shouldn't be here. Let's crush them!!

Slouch’d and issuing forth from Vegas’ maw, they arrive:
The wankers of our discontent.
Imbued with roster’d trinkets from the sons-of-Garys;
(And before them, all the Preds that lower'd upon our house
In the deep bosom of the links’ sand-traps buried).

While Jets brows are briefly bound with victorious wreaths;
Their bruised arms hung up for monuments;
Their stern alarms changed to merry celebration,
The dreadful waiting to delightful measure.

Grim-visaged wars hath smooth'd the Jets’ wrinkled front;
And again we reflect back on mustard-pounding deeds,
To fright the souls of those distant knights,
And our forwards caper nimbly, in their MTS chambers
To the lascivious cacophony of a “Du Hast” tune.

But we, that are not shaped for Cinderella’d tricks,
The Jetsfolk clan are but rudely stamp'd,
Aye, and yet seek WCF majesty,
To set before a wanton ambling commish.

What’s this, motley knights? Golden in name only -
Naught but curtail'd of this unlikely proportion,
Cheated of feature by Gallant’s joyless nature,
Cheated, unfinish'd, sent before their time
Into this ominous breathing rink, scarce half made up,
And so lame and unfashionable
That dogs stop to lift a limb and pee,
As their dusty bus groans to a halt.

Plots have Mo laid, bent on speed in the neutral,
And by dint of pucks inducted dangerous,
By sober prophecies, no libel or dreams here,
To drive those mothers – the Knights and Gerard king
To a confused state of one oppos’d t’other:
Stumbling over each other to lay blame.

And if King Buff be as true and just
As Stats and Shuffles are yet subtle and dangerous,
This day should the youngsters be free'd up,
To fulfil the old timers' prophecy, which says that we
Heirs to the Cup of Lord Stanley.
Skate fast, play hard, with all your soul: here
The third series comes.

People should "not" underestimate this Vegas team -- they are very fast and have great Goaltending in Fleury. They don't have a lot of stars on their team, but they have a bunch of "upper middle" players with very few weak players. Their biggest asset is they play as a team, and they are a fast transition team. They are "very good."

I believe this series goes 6-7 games--and it would not surprise me, if it goes 7. Don't underestimate this team like we did with the Preds, because you will be in for a surprise in my opinion.

With this being said -- I believe the Jet's have considerably more offensive firepower, and our Goaltending is just as good--so I think the Jet's take this series, in 6 or 7. This series will not be a walk in the Park !!!

I think that it's even more important than in pred series that we can steadily roll all four lines.

Vegas is a fast team.

Great job once again Zhamnov !! I want buff to bash Marshmallow or Karlsson early in this one just to show Vegas players that if you want to carry the puck it's going to hurt . Get to Fleury early and often , shoot from everywhere boys and time for Ehlers and Laine to really get going . Go Jets Go !!! Still hasn't sunk in that we are 4 wins away from the Cup final , Go Jets Go !!!

I really don't think the Jets underestimated Nashville , they were the #1 team going into the playoffs , and Vegas beat us twice this season so no way Maurice and the Jets take Vegas for granted either .

Just watching the game preview on sports net. What the Knights have accomplished is amazing. It’s time for the story to end now. It will be extremely annoying if an expansion team gets to the finals before we do. We’ve paid the requisite dues! We’ve suffered through decades of mediocrity! It’s OUR TURN dammit! When they are rolling, which is almost all the time, I think of it as perfect hockey. A five man unit that seems to all execute perfectly in unison. It's remarkable to watch. They are the Borg. Still, there are opportunities here.
