Canes have been looking better to start the year so it's a good thing we're getting them on a back to back.

Hopefully we don't get garbage tier reffing tonight but the guys have to be more disciplined either way.

As always, looking forward to the game. I'll be interested to see what the third jersey looks like in game action. I think the Jets pull out a tight one.

Winnipeg, Manitoba,
Battle of two of the top Finns...hopefully our guy and his team comes out on top.

Patty boy needs to snap out of “some things” and I know their line hasn’t been great, but enough of the blaming every misstep of his on Little or PoMo. If he’s every bit as good as many of us on here think, he should be creating his own excitement....no?

I know this won’t be a popular take with many and I realize it’s early in the year and would expect him to get back to his scoring ways, but he has to own some of the issues that are plaguing him.

By the way, I am not in any way saying that Little is playing great. He’s got his own issues!

Oh I'm not opposed to it, I just assumed that his first game would have been during a spurt where games were more condensed.
The Jets got a pretty well spaced schedule until a B2B on the road Oct 26 and 27, I think this would have seen Brossoit sit too long. I'm guessing Maurice mapped out his starts for the month well in advance. Ideally he ends up playing about 1 in 4 games throughout the season to help keep Helly fresh.

This also implies that Kulikov is not injured and has been a scratch in favor of Morrow and Chiarot .

I hope we learned from last year and give Hellebuyck more rest. I would really like to see Brossoit get more game in. Give him 35% of the starts i believe he is more than a capable goalie. It's not that i don't believe in Hellebuyck. I would just like to see him fresh if we were able to go on a deep playoff run.
