Any player we have sent to our ECHL affiliate recently has gotten lots of TOI. I would be surprised if our agreement with them doesn't specify that we can supply the starting goalie. If that is not specified and he can't win the job on his merits then it is moot anyway. If he can't make the ECHL as a starter there is no NHL in his future. Plenty of good goalies have come up through the ECHL. It isn't even unusual.

I'm with you. Even at the AHL level, Comrie has really bad games far too often. Yes, I'm basing that on watching the game highlights, I see few entire Moose games but some of the goals he lets in are real groaners. I just don't see a future for him on the Jets. Let's get Berdin some experience at the next level. He might never be an NHL goalie either, but at least there I still have hope.
