I'm contractually obligated to cheer on all the California prospects. Watched De Leo a handful of times in the WHL.

Might just be the size similarity but I've compared De Leo to Sergei Brylin in the past. Brylin carved out a nice niche as a role player for the Devils and played anywhere from the 2nd to 4th line.

That'd be pretty killer. I like how hard he works but I have no real expectations of him. Any value we get is just cake

The first comments in this thread confused the hell out of me until I realized that it was a bump...

Yup. Had to wonder what was going on.

Bummer about Conner, was an odd hit he took. Don't think the Kings player really meant to take his head into the board but it happened.

Ah well, at least everyone is getting a shot this year. Hope De Leo can make something of it.
