The only number that matters with regard to making the playoffs is 9. Any combination of 9 Jets wins or 9 Colorado losses and the Jet's are in. As long as the Jets go 9-6 in their last 15, the Avs can't catch up, even if they run the table.
Of course 3 point games put a wrench in the theory, but that's the simplest way to put it.
9 Colorado losses doesn't guarantee the Jets make it.....
So...we stay clenched until you say clinched?^ correct....until my list says "clinched" beside seven different teams then playoffs are not mathematically assured. All the other teams on the list could win 9 in a row.
Fair enough, Calgary would also have to lose 8, St. Louis 7, etc.9 Colorado losses doesn't guarantee the Jets make it.....
