Eklund Rumor: Jets interested in Brassard

I think most of the rumors come from the fact that the Jets tried hard to get him last year, but missed, and have the same need again this year. I don't think paying a 1st this year is a great idea, so I'd pass if that's the entry price.

Not interested in Brassard for what the Penguins will be asking. That ship for Brassard has sailed when they failed to land him last year. Coupled with his down season and I really don’t see the Jets paying a premium for a player who isn’t a clear upgrade on Little.

At this point in his career it’s not even clear where he would play on the Jets. Clearly an upgrade on the 4th line.....but after that its very debatable.
