He's officially out against the Sharks according to TSN690. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play any of the California games. He'll be back in the lineup again when the Habs return to the Bell Centre so the home fans can see him though.

What is the value, really ? I don't know, maybe, but I see more value in him playing games.
I didn't get to see the last two games has he been this bad ? This is weird.
That's not even the point. Weal should be in for Weise. The guy has had a bunch of games and shown nothing.

I still don't mind it as long as it is only to rest him. If he doesn't play the entire road trip this will have no negative consequence at all and might rejuvanate him.

Him taking a few games off will ultimately have zero impact whatsoever in his development. I want to watch him play now too, but the guy probably needs some rest. He's played an insane amount of hockey in the last two years. If he comes back well rested, and hungry to compete, that'll only help our playoff chances.

I had no problem with the one game scratch to rest. Not sure I agree keeping him out the whole California trip.
