I don’t think he is better than Danault anywhere on the ice and he doesn’t think the game anywhere near Danault’s level. In order to make up for difference I think he needs some some A plus tools and I don’t think he has any.

I for one, am completely baffled that a 6'3 obviously lanky as hell guy who looked 14 years old on draft day looks substantially stronger after two years of training and a 4 month break before a tournament starting about 7 weeks before what would normally be his D+3 season

KK has gotten significantly better, but I want to see him improve even more. He can only get better.
If we look at how much Suzuki improved in his D+3 season, one can only hope KK takes the same steps next season.
If he does, I'm very excited with KK's future.

Yeah he looks so much better after a really tough year and I love his vision/sense but in terms of being the player we're hoping, he's still got a ways to go. His puck skills can be a lot better and he still needs to keep getting stronger on his feet. It's a process. Exciting to see him now vs earlier this year though

Well there's varying degrees of course but I'm from Ottawa...I've seen Tkachuk play quite a bit.

He's not the finished product that most think he is.
