Domi is quickly becoming my favourite player. The kid is really something.

I wasn't a fan of keeping Kotkaniemi on the team past nine games, but he's learning and developing, and a game like this might boost his progress.

0% chance we win that game last year. They would've given up after the 2nd period. Just a MASSIVE change in attitude and determination this year!

It's also talent and playing style - common last year we had Alzner, Benn, Schlemko, and Weber on a broken foot on the back end, Plekanec playing important minutes, etc... This year we're playing players with speed and trying to play with pace.

I didn't see any weak goals, turnovers, rebounds off of defensemen, prime shooting areas in the slot and deflections, which goals were weak?
