Trouba can’t take board battles and cover in front of goal at the same time. The forward need to assist and in this case it was Ehlers. He was far away from where he should been.

I'm talking about trying to drag the puck through 2 forecheckers behind the net with less than a minute left in the period instead of making a more low risk play.

Trouba's biggest problem this year is he is trying to do too much (aka playing for a contract or a job elsewhere). He forgot what made him successful. He needs to simplify his game and go from there: Make quick exits from his zone, be physical, have a good gap.
