OT: Jersey Storage

Sorry if this should be somewhere else, but I was in Pittsburgh over the weekend for the games and I bought my first ever authentic jersey (a crosby 3rd jersey) and I want to make sure I store it properly, I'll only ever wear it to games.

Other jerseys i've had (which i bought for cheap and play pickup hockey in) I just folded up and put in a tote.. I do not want to do that with this one, but I also don't want to use up space in my very small closet to hang it up especially when I'll only wear it a few times a year.

Any ideas?

If you cut them in proper pieces, at the stitching for example, you could put them in tupper wear and store them in the basement.

Just display it until you want to wear it. I'm sure you'll find many different kinds to choose from.

All jokes aside, make sure the glass in the display is UV protected, it will mess with discoloration and that would suck.

Get yourself an xl large hanger and a garment bag. That's how I have all of my jerseys stored.

Well, I bought a frame.

It seems silly to frame an unsigned jersey, but I payed close to $400 for this jersey.. so it deserves to be framed.. also put in the Crosby plaque thing that came with the Charity Bag.

Well, I bought a frame.

Oh OK....I bought a Crosby one for myself and my wife at pensgear at southside but it was only $180 for mine and $150 for hers I believe. I didn't see any other ones there besides those ones. She wanted to get it signed so we waited before the Boston game where the players came in and got lucky. We were the 2nd and 3rd people to wait for autographs and Crosby only signed for the first 4 people. Now I just need to buy the frame

I doubt it. We went to south side pens gear and asked for Crosby 3rd jerseys. They showed us the only ones they had and they were under $200 ea.
