His playoff numbers aren’t exactly flattering
Ya no doubt, but neither were Bobrovskys before this year and he was key for his team making the cup.

He's a good enough goalie that a team who needs goaltending bad enough would take that risk IMO. But I agree with what the other posters say, probably depends where we are in the standings

Game 1 .969
Game 2 the D let Ullmark down
Game 3 .935
Game 4 .956

Ullmark single handly won game 1 the bruins where dreadful in games 1 and 2 at home

And was lights out in game 3 and 4 including a 43 save game

Your original statement said he was a monster all 4 games. He wasn't. Rask does that in game 2 and this place would implode.

You also said they could've easily been down 3-1. The Bs scored 10 goals between games 3 and 4. Even below average goaltending gets them 2 wins there.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree here.

I wonder if they would consider flipping Ullmark at the deadline this year...deadline prices are usually higher and the acquiring team gets him for two playoff runs.
They'll get some runs alright from watching him in the playoffs

was a absolute monster games 1 thru 4 had a .930SV% and was the team MVP as we easily could have been down 3-1 in the series not up

Then at the end of game 4 he made a sprawling save and laid facedown for about a minute…should never have played games 5 and 6 as he clearly got hurt
Linus was a monster all year. If our D had played with half the authority in front of our net that Vegas did in front of theirs we would have won the cup. Our D sucked.

Even though Sway has been overshadowed by Linus, I still think He's the keeper. Sway is young and getting better, Ullmark will decline way sooner. He'll cost more and will likely be past his prime by he time the B's can contend again Sway and Bussi is the way the go. Of course if your getting a crazy return, by all means go crazy.

Too injured to play game 5 and 6 but not too injured to try and fight tkachuk at the end of game 4.

Interesting.

What facts? You brought none. I don't know if you're ever been in a fight or even a tussle, but between adrenaline and the moment, someone is going to not feel pain momentarily, not care if they do, or bluff so not to appear like a vulnerable target.

So it was at best very poor decision making?

If he had just stood there and took it, or grabbed a knee and fell down, pleading to Tkachuk no more, you would have been all over him for looking weak. He did exactly what everyone expects out of a hockey player in that instance: fight back and stand up for himself.

Lol the excuse train is just rolling out on this one. Never his fault always someone else’s fault or an injury.

Two years in a row he’s fallen flat on his face.

8 games .888 save percentage and a 3.54 GAA.

Apparently all the good games count and all the bad games don’t.
