It will be interesting to see how it's handled if the Bruins ever get all their D-men back healthy at the same time.

I said this in the GDT I don't see how anyone can justify sitting out Matt Gryz at this point given how well he has played this year. He's been great.
Yeah he has, they all have really...

All the pairings have guys that can move the puck, Mcavoy, Carlo and Moore, Grzelcyk, plus the prospects knocking at the door. Definitely a much different team then when Krug first joined.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Lauzon and Vaakanainen both in the lineup. Kampfer has also surprised me though.

Exactly, everyone's played well to a certain degree. Tough decision for the coaches.

Didn't get to watch his debut but nice to read the praise.

We have a lot of NHL talent on D it looks like. Tough decisions ahead!

I was very impressed.

This D core is banged up. Heck, they had Lauzon out on the PK against a pretty decent Flyers PP. And to me he didn't look out of place.

Loved his poise and he even stepped into a few guys.

B's young D have a lot of poise. Nothing flashy from most of them but they make minimal mistakes, which is what I want to see in young D. Lauzon did everything last night I expected him to. Really promising for him to come up in his debut against a team with some physical players and look like he's been there before.

I’ve felt good about this pick/player since we took him. He is wayy bigger than I remember. Someone else mentioned he looks like a LH Carlo and they weren’t wrong.

I think a Lauzon-Carlo shutdown pair will be something we see in the near future.

I had him mixed up with Carlo a few times too - he's listed as 6'-1" officially but he looked closer in height to Carlo than say Heinen. Must have had a growth spurt haha.

Aside from the size, his skating and physicality were great. The dude looked terrific all around, especially considering he didn't get a proper practice with the team before being thrown into his first game.

I thought he looked more like a 6'4" guy than 6'1". I hope he stays and at least gets real long look and is allowed to make a mistake or two without being Clauded the way some have in the past. I'm not expecting the next Scott Stevens, but he didn't look timid either. There seems to be a lot to like here.

I think tomorrow will be interesting seeing as we're playing Montreal. Getting him into this rivalry in his second game as a kid from Quebec adds to the excitement, imo.

Hopefully, he's one of those north-of-the-border Bruins fans like we have so many of on this board.

I’m 5’10/5’11 and speaking from experience in Providence last season, he’s taller than I am— he’s about 6’3.” I believe certain websites have him listed as such, too.

If there was ever a time to trade Krug, it’s now. Lauzon looked great and Zboril and Vaakanainen are there too.

Have you seen the power play without Krug?!?!?

I don’t care if he is the 7th dman and all he plays is 5-8 minutes of power play time in a game he is a huge difference maker on this team and in this league.

The power play hasn’t been as good in the last few games but it’s still one of the best in the league right now. We also have Mcavoy coming back that I think would do a fine job running a unit. It’s that value I hope other GM’s see and pay a good price, the Bruins need another good center over a power play QB right now. This is a conversation for a different thread though, Lauzon feels more like a potential Miller replacement at some point.

Lauzon looked great to me. He seems like a real solid, well rounded player. Lets hope he can stay healthy and keep up his game.

Definitely sounds more accurate. The official listings get pretty wacky sometimes, especially for the younger guys. Guess I'm a Lauzon Height Truther now!

Everything I have read says that this kid is a stud and plays hard all the time. Just a matter of him staying healthy. Him and Krug could be a solid pairing.

When the Bruins D was really thin on the right side a few years back I remember reading that Krug played the right side when he was in providence and him saying he had no problem playing there.

Something like this could be interesting

Chara-Carlo
Gryz-McAvoy
Lauzon-Krug
Moore

Eventually

Vaak-McAvoy
Lauzon-Carlo
Zboril-Andersson
Gryz

Where's Miller? Still on injury list, but should he lose his job when healthy?
