How is a team that missed the playoffs the last 2 years and have 1 point in 3 games to start the year a contender?as if Barkov has had the priority to play in a great hockey franchise with good coaches.
He himself has made the Panthers what they are, a contender.
they aren't. And even if they were, it's ridiculous to say it's solely because of Barkov. Even McDavid on an ELC couldn't turn a team into a contender by himselfHow is a team that missed the playoffs the last 2 years and have 1 point in 3 games to start the year a contender?
Barkov but it’s close. He’s the third most valuable asset in hockey behind McDavid and Matthews in my opinion.
there isn't a drop off between the two on offenseI got the big fella in Florida on this one.
What you'll lose in offense you'll more than make up for on the defensive side.
I think there will be.there isn't a drop off between the two on offense
People have been saying that since the day Eichel got drafted. it's 2018 and there still is no gap between them.I think there will be.

Eichel, and it's not that close, because he's a true franchise center and someone you can build around. Barkov is a good #1 center, but I think he might have peaked. I don't see Hart Trophies and Art Ross Trophies in his future like I do in Eichel's.
good contract too.MacKinnon, Nate.
Neither one has peaked. How can you say Barkov has peaked? They're only a year apart.Eichel, and it's not that close, because he's a true franchise center and someone you can build around. Only one standout year so far though, and he's not that young anymore, so let's chill out on him.
