Agreed, and any star players or players to be usually traded to a different division/cnference where they dont have to face that player.

Of course, not always.

Thats why i think bautista will be traded to the National league.

In a well advanced hitters league, Aaron Sanchez is allowing batters to hit .151 against him thus far. It's hard not to get giddy over his potential, especially because he has the smooth delivery to help improve his command (as seen in the video). A lot of scouts see him as a really good #2, some also see him as a potential #1 if everything comes together (which he has a good chance of succeeding at). His stuff is so nasty that it will be able to play in any park, and he could thrive in the AL East (when he's ready) with a 95-98 fastball, a 77-79 curve and an 86-88 change (Callis said he has a potential plus change too to give him 3 plus pitches).

Maybe, just maybe we have a pitcher on our hands that has a chance to do what Halladay did back in the day, except with more offense helpin to guide him.

I'm excited about this one, very excited. AA better not let this one go in ANY deal.

If he can put it altogether, he is a keeper. AA better not trade him for some win now move, ie. Syndergaard.

Another article on the highly sought after Masahiro Tanaka and why the Jays "need" to sign him.

Given not just the article, it makes perfect sense to gamble on him rather than Santana or Ubaldo as the payoff could be huge for the fact of potential and you know he's a workhorse.

Tanaka would be awesome but with the Yankees apparently being obsessed with obtaining him I dont see the Jays having much chance.

None of this trading more young prospects. We need to make a impact thru free agency and Tanaka would be a incredible get.

He also threw 160 pitches in a playoff game and then came out of the bullpen the following day to throw an additional 15 pitches in relief. The kid is a work horse.

This is the only thing that I'm not a big fan of. Shades of Dice-K.

Unfortunately, its not happening. AA didn't even scout him personally and they don't have the money to do a 60-70M posting bid + 50-60M contract.

Jays missed out their chance at blowing their money on Darvish who would have been sooooooooo worth it.

Well I cant justify giving ANY free agent pitcher 100M, let alone 50. Rogers commited, now its time to go full tilt, not half.
