Why? Some insurance in case Lind or EE go down?

I think he's the guy that hit the Rays a home run in the last inning of 2011 with two out and two on to put them into the playoffs pretty sure. Thats pretty much it.

For his MLB career he has a .236/.337/.411 line with 56 HR and yes he was the one who hit the dramatic homer for Tampa.

Okay depth signing. Just there to takeover Mauro Gomez's spot in Buffalo.

Red Sox sign Mike McCoy, not like he was anything special but I liked him.

Wieters would be a pipe dream. Elite defensive catcher and game caller like him? Who gives a **** if he can't hit.

Problem is he'll cost too much.

I'd be fine with Pierzynski and Thole.

This is what I'm hoping for. Pierzynski would be a good stopgap until Jimenez is ready or AA finds a different catcher.

  24. I think he was good friends with Buerhle too.
