Not a game we wanted to see, but still 2 points.

If Beagle plays like that and trims down the penalties, I can survive him on the 1st for a couple more games.
Holtby, Chimera and Niskanen all had rough games, but at least Hotby had a number of good saves.
Kuznetsov has no business on the 4th line, it's just a waste now.
The 2nd line looked really good, and Mojo's progress is awesome to behold.

Holtby still too shaky and not the long term solution until he can prove it to all of us. Won't change my stance on that.

No point making highlight reels if you're going to let in the easy snags

I'm starting to get really annoyed with the way Trotz is using Kuz at this point.

If half of this board were GM's MoJo would have been shipped out last season for a bag of pucks.

I always said MoJo could do with maturing both physically and mentally. Haven't seen a noticeable difference in the physical part of his game, but the mental part has matured noticeably, IMO.

You know what i really, really want the Caps to be? The kind of team that after a tough loss does not let it get to them and skid for 3 more.

I want them to be a team that can lose, say oh well and then go out the next time and put together 60 minutes for the W. If they can become that then watch out league...

thats probably why you didn't notice :P

I think Wilson has looked the best, beagle looked ok tonight in a pinch.. not sure about making it a habit. Wilson should be back friday, Laich as well.

Wilson belongs in that spot. Really excited to see how he grows on that line.

Like to see this given a chance.

You don't mess with the 90-65-20 chemistry IMO. Kuzya is stuck right now.

Very unimpressive win, take the 2 pts and continue to try to improve.

This group just seems to hit an automatic "off" switch once they go up by 2 goals at home. And then they have a very tough time getting momentum back.
