Jarry vs Desmith

Looking to upgrade my goaltending in a deep salary cap/keeper pool. I know Jarry got sent down and Desmith is the backup. Is it safe to say Jarry is still the goalie of the future for Pittsburgh and Desmith is only there due to waiver eligibility or is there some long term potential for Desmith? I'm okay sitting on Jarry for a bit if the potential is there.

In my leagues, Murray and Jarry have been the goalies of interest. DeSmith is an after thought.

Personally, I think it is much closer. I had goalie issues last season and DeSmith's performance helped me get the championship. While expectations are higher for the other two, if he continues to outperform them, things may start to change.
