Darn, our backup 3C is gone.

Glass just solidified his roster spot for the year didn't he?

Interesting. Wonder what this means in terms of Glass/Etem, specifically when Stepan comes back/who would be 13F. Wonder if the team will call up a 7th D while Klein is still out, since Stolls cap hit will be completely buried.

Don't like this. Stoll is the exact type of player the Rangers need when/if the playoffs roll around. He takes dumbass holding and interference penalties, but most of those infractions go uncalled in the playoffs.

I think a playoff contender claims him.

LOL @ bold, remember that debate.

But the second part of this post makes me want to cry.

I'd prefer Stoll be the 4th line anchor than Glass. Even with Glass having a few good games since being recalled, he's still horrible.

What is this the 5th actual hockey player to lose a roster spot to Glass?

In before the waiver claim or tryout signing next year where Stoll moves on to perform admirably in a role with another team.

rofl, I can't anymore. I didn't even really think Stoll brought much to this team, but Tanner ****ing Glass lives on.

What a world.

At what point is Gorton also accountable for this? Why does he keep giving AV whatever he wants even if it is not best for the team?

They spelled Tanner Glass really strangely

I don't think this is the biggest of deals but it's still just rearranging deck chairs.

I mean Stoll's not that good anyway to me but he's fine as a 13th forward that could play the 4th line if someone gets hurt or someone needs to come out.

agreed. Stoll hasnt been all that great...but id take him 1000 times out of 1000 over Glass.

I hope this is all a precursor to a trade.

All it took was 3-4 not horrible games from Tanner Glass for this to happen.

Sorry to hear that, but I honestly didn't notice him once the entire season. Maybe that's not a bad thing for his role, but nonetheless.

A mega trade that moves Stall, Glass, and Girardi to different ends of the Earth and brings back a competent RD, RW and a 1st?

CHRISTMAS IS COMING EARLY BOYS! :D

Stoll only makes 800k though so idk if that's the case.

Stoll is cheaper, signed just this season, can play C and is overall a better player than Glass. Glass sucks, 3-4 good games doesn't change 90+ atrocious ones.

Another one bites the dust, Glass wins again.
