Some guy on the main board on Sunday said that The Canucks where going to sign Jan Kovar a 26 year old 5"11 205 center from Czech Rep. it was taken down as there was no source.


well he has now said he will try the NHL now.

with Mr Benning in France at the moment where Mr Kovar is playing for the Czechs

perhaps there is some fire from where the smoke is coming from

He's a real player but I suspect the whole idea of him coming to Vancouver is being driven by his name.

Kind of like if we were speculating about the Flames signing Kal Gari.
