Surrounded by talent he reportedly chose. Apparently he’s an even worse GM than he is teammate.

Irony in all this is that the Rockets have one of the better teams they’ve assembled in the Harden era. John Wall still appears to have his explosiveness, Boogie is a beast in the paint if he’s healthy, and Christian Wood has an offensive game pretty well suited to play with Harden.

Before he decided to act like a selfish child, they low key had a really good team.

Yeah. Obviously there’s a lot of question marks but I thought their ‘best case scenario’ equates to a very good team. Not a top contender, but in that second group of teams that could be a problem if they get hot at the right time.

Doesn't matter. He's been constantly surrounded by talent and failed to get the job done.

There's too much evidence that's been piled up to show Harden doesn't get it done when it matters most. No team with championship aspirations should be trading for this fool.

First it was Dwights fault, then CP3s fault, then Westbrooks fault......

Exactly. Guys like him and Westbrook won't have ring at the end of their careers.

Is Lowry not a #1 option? This is my first year following basketball so I legitimately don't know.
Lowry is the quarterback. He runs the offence but without receivers or a running game there is only so much he could do. If no one else is scoring he's not as effective controlling the game.

So basically Harden's time with the Rockets was done in by KD/AD taking the easy way out to form superteams that stood in the Rockets way.

He also couldn't co-exist with KD/Westbrook when they were a super team. He's an incorrigible player who wants all of the credit and none of the blame.

Huh? Harden wasn't traded cause he couldn't coexist. The owner just didn't want to pay the luxury tax and Harden was due a new deal. They made the finals 4 months before he was traded and Harden played a key role. That being written, what he is doing now is ridiculous. They probably are still a playoff team with him. Wood has been great.

houston has catered to harden's every whim and he has the nerve to say its their fault that they're in this situation? lol

they got him dwight, cp3, and westbrook and he beefed with all of them. cp3 was the main factor in that '18 WCF run. harden just isn't a winner

Exactly.... not their fault he chased everybody out of town because he didn't want to play with them anymore. & he also didnt need to keep saying yes every time they offered him more and more money per year.... had he taken less maybe they could have added more key players.

Bean said it first....

Kobe Bryant: Rockets can't win title with James Harden dominating ball
