Pearson is not an ideal second line player but he’s serviceable. Virtanen on the other hand looks like he’s playing his way out of the league. The guy is a deer in the headlights when he has the puck in the defensive zone and handles the puck like a grenade in the offensive zone.

Yeah Pearson is just OK.

He can hang often but hes not really driving play and to be honest I find myself being frustrated watching him with Hoglander. Like hes a bit of sink.

But he has turned a corner, or so I've heard.
