Kid played his ass off last night.

So its there. Now can he sustain it?

Credit where it is due, he did more away from the puck last night than I've seen from him this season apart from a couple games. That to me is actually more impressive than his goal.

History suggests he'll sink back into his lazy disinterested game tomorrow, but here is hoping that doesn't happen.

as much as I liked that 4th line I think you gotta reward him by bumping him up to the 3rd line and give him more minutes. He's had nothing but negative reinforcement all year, gotta seize this chance to give him some positive reinforcement.

Too soon . let him string a few games together

This is what happens when you play the guy with other skaters that play a similar style as opposed to continually trying to make he and DK work despite the long list of evidence that it did not. He can just play and react without overthinking every aspect of his game.
