Not even close. You're underestimating a fully healthy Devils team with the additions of Hughes and PK. They can make noise if Schneider/Blackwood give them decent goaltending.

I mean I now consider the team a contender to make the post-season. And I'm cool with that.

But claiming they are the worst team in the metro is dumb. Heck, there is only 1 team that is clearly better than the others at this point and that's the Caps.

Don't get caught up in 'pairs'. Subban likely plays the most minutes, and is the undisputed #1 defenseman, but I doubt they break up Greene-Severson pairing.
