I'd almost forgotten about Brown. Not surprised by Korobov.

Very very very happy for brown. Korobov thought would have to wait till next year but both have great stats.

Brown leading team in fights 10 points in 13 games.

Korobov 6 assist plus 7 is really a physical force in my opinion still think he needs work but good for him to get his feet wet:)

Definitely picked a couple kids with a ton of heart and gritty styles!!

Who are the center core without Stamkos?

    Filppula - Johnson - Thompson - Pyatt?

Is Pyatt injured? Or this J.T. Brown currently a center?

Saw this coming, makes sense, the most physical ready for the NHL

Pyatt is injured brown is not a center so is killorn taking center or connolly or purcell who have all done it in past. Connolly has been doing it in ahl this year for a few games.

    Killorn did it in harvard.

If that doesnt work have tyrell angelidis or namestnikov can call up.

I would prefer to give to the job to killorn guy is just a complete player so think for him is like riding a bike he is good at everything and would do fine in a very short time. He was very good at harvard from what I know. Face offs etc.. Rather make life simpler for connolly and tell him to score at this point lol.

He wasnt great last year when played center at face offs in very limited amounts of time doing it but think he would get back to over 50 % if allowed him to do it full time he just picks up everything he is thrown in front of him well and was like 55 % at harvard.

I thought Brown was a possibility, but I wasn't expected it either. Good for the kid though. Now he has a chance to stake his claim in the organization. Brown's a very good player, and he will be a solid kid to have up and getting some time. Glad to see he's getting his chance. Plus, we wont have to rush our other players yet. Not saying they arent ready, but more time to prepare isn't a bad thing.

Hopefully Korobov is ready, or at least a competent backup. We have enough defensemen for me to feel ok right now with the Sustr and Barbs.

Happy for both of them. I'm very high on Brown and he can fit on every line which gives us flexibility going forward. Korobov finally gets a shot with the big club.

No updates on lines so far or who is in net. I will update shortly. Or someone will.

So far missy zielinski has been putting out the news for tampa on twitter.

I am getting plenty from syracuse slower so far from tampa sources.

Nice to see Korobov getting a chance. Brown as well. What role is he going to play though? Korobov is going to be fighting for the #6D spot with Barbs I'd guess.

I'm guessing he's going to fill a bottom 6 winger role unless he proves he belongs in the top 6. I don't see Korobov playing today, unless they go 7 D

this really is tyler johnson's time to shine. he has been so close all year, he really needs to take the extra time and O-zone starts and give us all a reason to include him in the discussion of better players on the team.

as for panik; complete and total sameage

Agreed on both. I've noticed that both Johnson and Palat have really been getting close to getting nice goals but have been shanking everything wide. I'd love to see them bury something every once in a while, could be game changing if they do.

And Panik has been looking incredible the past 3-4 games. If he keeps going like this, he'll be burying in no time

Anyone know if these two are flying into Montreal? Or will they hold off until Thursday?

    I'm thinking:

    Purcell/Killorn/MSL
    Connolly/Filppula/Malone
    Panik/Johnson/Palat
    Brown/Thompson/(Crombeen)

    Hedman/Sustr
    Carle/Gudas
    Brewer/Barbs
    (Korobov)

Korobov/Crombeen sit depending if we go 11/7 or 12/6.

    Thoughts?

Yeah, I think I'm mostly excited to see Korobov and how NHL-ready he is. What an addition he would be if he proves he can handle it.

    pretty much my thought process.

don't expect brown or anybody else that's called up to immediately light the place on fire but rather expect those who are already here do some more than they have.

if panik and connolly get going, it would be such a big boost.
