How come he is playing in the NAHL this season, and not in the AHL??? There was a list of NHL'ers listed, and he was mentioned. Wouldn't he be better off in the AHL? Any input would be great.

I'm not sure he'd crack the top two on too many AHL teams. He's 25, which is a little old in prospect terms. That alone will probably deter teams from inquiring about his services.

The Habs let him go after a decent season. I would assume they felt that Yann Danis could take over the reins this year since Dallas was sending a goalie as well. Plus they have 4 young goalies in Halak, Heino-Lindberg, Lacasse and Michaud.
