Pretty discouraged with this team’s performances.
There isn’t a lot to be positive about so far.
Hopefully they can turn this around not sure how, very flat all the way through with a couple of exceptions.

Another mediocre effort tonight.

This team is also not helped by coaching decisions either. The lack of puck movement in our own end can be placed at the feet of the coach who wants to dress perceived safer big players. Poolman trying to move the puck on the first pair was comical, add in the other players who can't make a breakout pass or help join the attack and we are shooting ourselves in the foot. Also the Laine/Scheifele/Wheeler line really doesn't work as their are too many duplicate skills present on that line. This team was better with a more balanced top 6 that we started the year with. I am not sure what Moe is thinking, we aren't good defensively so why are we doubling down on trying to do things we aren't good at instead of load up offensively and try to press our skill advantage....

We may have fired 40 or so shots tonight but they were all from the outside, no real chances at 5 on 5 from in the danger area.

Nothing else to really say other then we need a more diverse forward and defense dressed:

Ehlers Scheifele Laine
Connor Roslovic Wheeler
Copp Lowry Perrault
Appelton Gus Bourque

Morrissey Pionk
Heinol - Kulikov
xxxx - Poolman

I actually saw some highlights, but not enough.

We need to trade a draft pick for a top-4 defenseman by December.

He is trying to turn this team into a low event team and we don't have the pieces for that type of game.
