Nothing is stopping the rangers from calling up/signing the toughest guy they can find for the game tomorrow night.

Yeah, it's pretty funny how some people want more Tom Wilson's in the league to deal with the current Tom Wilson.

"We need enforcers to deal with dirty players!" Enforcers:

You know - because enforcers weren't the ones out there doing stupid shit.

Yeah I dont get this logic. Bring back guys whose sole purpose was to go after player to combat the guys whose sole purpose is to go after players. Policing did nothing back in the day to stop this shit it just led to more fights and line brawls.

Not often, but there were some. McSorley and Gretzky.

Totally different NHL. This game was played before many of the folks posting here were even born. A lot of what we are seeing today would have been dealt with on the ice back then as the league allowed the players to settle their beefs on the ice and at times, seemed to encourage it.

Parros is just the tip of the iceberg. His rullings are reflective of what the league is telling him. Just like firing Peel didn't change anything and just showed how hypocrite the league is in regards to player safety
