something like that. He’s produced in the NhL before. I know the history has been rocky but we’re starving for offense. Not every player is going to be or needs to a selke candidate. Just don’t make stupid mistakes.

I'd be surprised if he gets a call up, unless a bunch of injuries happen, but I could see him getting a look next fall if he makes it that long and stays out of trouble.

Think that ship has sailed. Ho sang will either be in the Ahl for another team or in Europe next season.

Did we ever learn what MVS's injury was that's kept him out all year? I presume something along the lines of an ACL but haven't heard anything.

Man that Sorokin line looks good - for about the 8th year in a row, it seems.

JHS will be a 70 point player next season for us. Patience

Mat Barzal will be tooth and nail to hit 70 points this year, and he's a hundred times the player Ho-Sang is.

I think at this point anyone holding out hope for Ho-Sang to be anything more than a short term "injection" of offense before fading away isn't being realistic. He might be one of those guys who gets a call-up and goes on a random 15 points in 25 game stretch, but I don't think he'll ever be a guy that will produce top line numbers over a full season.

lay off the LSD, bro... :D

i am still a believer that he can play in the bigs, but i don't see this kind of production any time soon. just curious... do you know something we don't, or is this just a guess?

He’s obviously trolling.

I really hope everything works out and Sorokin comes over next season. His skill and personality, should fit in perfectly on the Isles. This is generally a buttoned-down team and Sorokin should inject some levity and life into the locker room.

Thanks for sharing the clip! So, just to confirm, Sorokin is an introvert and a bit camera shy? ;)
Saw he reported a couple different places recently that he actually has quite a rivalry and almost hatred for Shesterkin. It was pointed out as reasoning behind him wanting to play for us.

Nah, that's doubtful ... I see him contributing 10G 35A over the course of a season, that is in the wild world where he actually makes an NHL roster and plays a full season. Still, I'd take that 45 points over Dal Colles 12 points any day.

One has to wonder how long Thompsons leash is. Dal Colle, Ho-Sang, Bellows, Wahlstrom, Holmstrom. The latter 2 are newer but he has failed to produce an impact player and it isn't like he's not getting talented players... projects, yes. raw? for sure. But that is what a good coach does, take that raw talent and develop it into an NHL contributor.

Our forward prospects are floundering under his leadership and it needs to be addressed. 5 1st round draft picks and we are still talking about how we are going to find "more pop" up front. Writing is on the wall my friends.
