Let's not forget who Bellows played with while at the USNTDP, Clayton Keller, a pretty elite skater in his own right.

True but I am still concerned over his skating. Pronman who values skating doesn't have Bellows rated very high in that area.

46. Kieffer Bellows, LW, New York Islanders
Skating: 45
Puck Skills: 55
Physical Game: 55
Hockey sense: 60
Shot Grade: 70
Bellows bounced back nicely after a disappointing 2016-17 after he departed college for the WHL. He has one of the best shots outside the NHL and can score a ton of goals. He has skill, but he needs someone to get him the puck to put up big numbers as I wouldn’t describe his skill as dynamic. Also, he could use an extra gear in his skating. Bellows is a very smart player though who moves the puck well and plays with pace. He’s hard on pucks and can be tough to push around.

Boy, it must be easy to score in that league...
Very LOW scoring league. The goalie's goals against averages in that league is much lower than the NHL. That was from last season.

Gentlemen, I suppose I should have put the sarcastic symbol at the end of my Goal-yshev-related statement above.

Nonetheless, I'm not sure how the GAAs of the league's top five goalies can be used to make a conclusive or blanket statement on whether a league itself is high or low scoring.

Ok, how about points per game amongst the scorers, only 6 guys averaged 1 point per game or more in the KHL last year (40 games or more), as opposed to 19 in the NHL (40 games or more).

Golyshev is known as a goal scorer...he was the youngest to score 25 goals in the league. He was also known as the best unknown prospect outside the NHL before he was drafted and Snow nearly fell off his seat when he went to draft him.

His goal was actually the first scored in all of Liiga for this season, and 1 more than he had all of last year.

Looks like he was on the top pair as well. I was high on him going into the draft last year but was obviously concerned with a completely stagnant season. Hopefully, a new team and bigger role will help.

I seem to remember an article where Salo said how disappointed he was in his play last year and how determined he was to get back on track this year. So far so good.

How about the average amount of goals scored in a game? I think that could be a suitable way to measure how high scoring KHL is. Or any league for that matter. Maybe it's just me.
