Let’s hope Wahlstrom is feeling better. I guess it’s better than him being injured from that boarding.

Yikes. That sounds like it can totally wipe out your energy

I actually almost died from Norovirus back when I got sick in 2014. Not from it, but because I was completely exhausted from the constant vomiting and diarrhea. I passed out on the way to the bathroom and I still don't know how my head didn't get cracked open on the toilet when I regained consciousness. My head was right next to it and I oddly remember my face hitting the floor though. I looked like I had Mike Tyson tattoo style bruises on the right side of my face when I got out of the hospital a couple of days later. I looked like a freaking badass, Ross the Boss would have run from me.

Crazy.

Feel like the 2019 draft hype is dissipating big time because of this tournament

Hughes hasn't played because he's been hurt, haven't heard much about Kakko. I don't think Podkolzin has been beasting or anything. I don't really know of any other prominent 2019 draftees. The WJC is usually dominated by 19 year olds anyway.

Holy **** that's crazy.

Yeah. It was pretty crazy. That's why my eyes widen and my ears perk up anytime Norovirus is mentioned. It's just a fancy name for the runs, but mine was pretty extreme. Plus it was like a month removed spending a month in the hospital so I was not in the best shape anyway.

Wash your hands people, sanitizer is a good idea. Protect your bungholes from Norovirus!

Dobson makes some smooth passes under pressure. When he's in his own end with two pressuring him close I saw 2 plays where his pass was super slick. This guy is a stud. Great skater too. When he's 200lbs look out.

He has the unenviable task of being the safety valve for Smith in the pairing. Requires him to be the puck retriever and usually under duress. He takes the hits to make the play. He needs to get bigger and stronger for sure.

Good for us if he is.

Different types though, but I'll take both since we do have both. Big, fast, skilled RD's are insanely valuable. Pulock, Dobson, Wilde, Mayfield. Looks very promising.
The whole org. is trending up. The farm team, most of our prospects doing well. It feels good.

And eerily, all the success coincides with new coaching and management. Whodathunk it

People tend to forget how good Dobson was last season. Might never put up huge points but he’s so smooth back there on defense. Just needs to get stronger as he’s a been pole right now. Great to hear about Bode but Dobson is way ahead defensively.

They should play together to balance each other out. Dobson plays both sides after all. And it looks like we are going to have more Rd than Ld
