BC had a tough early schedule. All their games were against nationally ranked teams. BC was preseason #1 in Hockey East. I would think they will turn it around. To early to panic.

Agreed it’s early but this has to be one of the weakest BC teams they’ve had in a while.
SCSU is really good but from listening to some of the broadcast BC just hasn’t looked even competitive. They need to figure out something fast.

I guess my point is they always do seem to figure it out. I can't remember the last time BC was at the bottom of Hockey East.

2 point game for Golyshev in 2-1 OT victory. If you don't count the game he was injured and a couple of games after he was recovered (it took him some time to get going again), he's on a PPG pace.

I’m not sure? He got hurt at the end of a game a few games ago and I don’t think he’s played since. I can’t find anything on his injury anywhere. I’m about to email the PR person for the spirit lol

They have a twitter account. You could always ask there. Although the person running it isn't always someone with a lot of inside knowledge of the club (usually just some random PR dude/dudette).

Sorokin and Golyshev have been named on Russia NT roster for the Karjala Cup, which will be held on 8th-11th of November in Helsinki.

I might be going (if I survive tonights Panthers - Jets at Helsinki). Nice to see our guys live, hopefully Sorokin in net vs. Finland.

No. But going just by stats, the entire Boston College team looks awful. Only one player has more then one goal in five games. I hope Wahlstrom does an Okposo and goes to Bridgeport or to a team in the CHL.

Yeah that's actually true. Maybe he can go to whichever CHL team that drafted him? Or if he wasn't drafted then he could perhaps go to Saginaw and play with Wilde and Jenkins? I know quitting teams rubs a lot of the old intelligentia the wrong way but Wahlstrom and the Islanders should focus on his development. Bellows was stuck in a similar situation in BU and skipped and went to Portland so I would be surprised if Wahlstrom doesn't do the same thing if this keeps up.

I've got a bad taste in my mouth from BC still because of Bellows, so there's a bit of bias here.... but I've always felt for high end players Jr is the better developmental league. I hate the College schedule and the bias coaches give to older students.

Bellows was at BU, not BC.

I don’t think we know if Bellows benefited from the move from college to juniors just yet. We hope he still has but he has a way to go with his development.
