So if we win can we stop the doomsday talk? Or is it still more fun to hate our team?
It's mostly fun to get drunk and spew nonsense during games, to be honest.
No class/work Monday thanks to the holiday too
No reason to lose tonight.
I have work on Monday morning.
Thank god. I love Parros but he's so useless
Sweet, I worked last night so I was glad there was no game, looking forward to seeing us get back in the win column.
I wish I actually weren't as emotionally invested in this team as I am. Would be nice when, if we lost, I can just say "meh" and move on in life. Instead I get upset and mope around the rest of the night.
Ohh... just realized it was Nov. 11th! No class then tomorrow I guess.
EDIT: **** UOttawa... classes don't seem to be cancelled.
EDIT2: "In Canada, Remembrance Day is a federal statutory holiday (except in NL, NWT, ON and QC)" Soooo.. it's Ontario that's the problem here. Makes me wish I was back home in BC right about tomorrow.
Remembrance day/Veterans Day in the US I think is tomorrow lol
I just noticed this game is on at 4 p.m. my time. I work until 5 today (I'm posting from work).
Bouillon-Murray beg to differ.
Grr... this ****ing province I now live in is an exception to the federal statutory holiday.
Where do you live?
Ontario... I'm used to it being a stat though, since I lived in BC my whole life up until a couple months ago.
Ahhh I see. In fairness, at least you don't have to live in piece of **** New Brunswick like me
So true lol
Are we going to see the usual habs fall apart against the Islanders show?
Four day weekends are the best.
This is about as close to a 'must win' game as you'll get this early in the season. We really have to win this game.
Vanek, Neilsen, and Martinek with 4 goals for the Isles.
Pacioretty x2 for the Habs.
cmon kids. Veterans day in U.S.A. is called Memorial Day and is last week of May.
As far as habs losing a few games in a row they have been doing it forever.
At least Im old and can remember Beliveau,Richard,Lafleur etc.
Tonight check the score periodically.If favorable watch a bit. Go Habs Go!!!
Uhhh... no. They're two separate holidays here.
Totally incorrect. Two distinct federal holidays with different purposes. Memorial Day commemorates those who died in service. Veterans Day commemorates those who are veterans, which include those who are still among the living.
Parros has all of the traits I dispise in a fighter:
* nice guy
* care and attention to personal branding
* ineffective punches
* nice guy
He's George Laraque, without the capacity to hurt anyone.
Separate names with a comma.
