Noah Dobson has seized the #2 spot in this year's prospect rankings, and for good measure. The all-around defenseman was the best player on an Acadie-Bathurst Memorial Cup winning team, as draft analysts and prospect scouts struggle to find weaknesses in his game. Here's a highlight package of Dobson titled "Dobson Cometh":

Jakub Skarek has been added to the poll with 9 "add" votes. Other prospects receiving votes:

Wotherspoon - 8
Rathgeb - 5
Salo - 5
Koivula - 3
Dal Colle - 2
Quenneville - 2
Golyshev - 1

-------------------------

1. Oliver Wahlstrom - C/RW - 11th OVR, 2018 - USNDP/Boston College (NCAA)
2. Noah Dobson - RD - 12th OVR, 2018 - Acadie-Bathurst Titan (QMJHL)

I'm going with Sorokin this round, think this might not be another close one.

Add Wotherspoon as he barely missed it last time

why is Sorokin being rated above Bellows, Ho-Sang or Aho (who are all potential NHL regulars as soon as opening night)

Sorokin is petrov 2.0

Because he has the highest upside of the remaining prospects.

I guess I disagree with how we are ranking prospects? Sorokin is less likely to make the NHL so I put him lower on the list. If anything I would trade the dude while his value is high - he is quite overrated imho (plays on CSKA Moskva, one of the better teams)

That’s always the battle. There’s no right or wrong way. I go with who I believe has the highest potential and ceiling.

i think Sorokin, Wahlstrom and Dobson are all the same tier, but because of Sorokin's uncertainty factor, he goes 3rd.

add Salo
