Noah Dobson has seized the #2 spot in this year's prospect rankings, and for good measure. The all-around defenseman was the best player on an Acadie-Bathurst Memorial Cup winning team, as draft analysts and prospect scouts struggle to find weaknesses in his game. If Petrov had put up 60 points in 45 KHL games you'd be right. But he didn't. He put up like 20.

Because he has the highest upside of the remaining prospects.

I guess I disagree with how we are ranking prospects? Sorokin is less likely to make the NHL so I put him lower on the list. If anything I would trade the dude while his value is high - he is quite overrated imho (plays on CSKA Moskva, one of the better teams)

That’s always the battle. There’s no right or wrong way. I go with who I believe has the highest potential and ceiling.
