The 60 goal around 100 point pacing former self? No. Possibly will never be that again. Is he playing like a 1C now? Yes. 16 points in the last 15 games. Even taking out the 6 point game 10 points in 14 games is still pretty good.

He's definitely got his speed and strength back. He's even started winning some faceoffs. But his main problem was he has been shanking 99% of one timers this season which has killed both his production and our PP %. We'll know he's truly back once he fires home a one-timer.

Still looks off in some regards, especially his shooting/one timers/hand eye. For people who don’t watch every Rangers game, he wasn’t just snake bitten he was legitimately one of our worst players night in & night out during this slump. He looked like a drunk guy the way he stumbled around and fumbled every pass and couldn’t shoot to save his life. During that stretch I think he should’ve been scratched if it weren’t for Chytil’s injury

I voted option 2 originally.

If poll allowed - i'd change my vote today to option 1. Really impressed.

5 games ago he had 11 points in 27 games, and was -5, which is pathetic.
Now he has 26 points in 32 games and is + 5. Makes a hell of a comeback.

By Saturday night - he'll be PPG (NYR play Flyers again..)
