I would say no, just bad luck that the glass broke
I wouldn't call that boarding. I'd call that charging.
No. If the glass didn't break play would have continued and nobody would have thought twice about it. That play happens a lot. It wasn't even charging, he coasted the last 15 feet before he hit the guy.
God damn, U16? I didn't know 15 year olds could do that!
It was a solid hit, and yeah, he was coasting long enough to negate charging, he just, you know, went through the glass.
Great hit! God I wish I could do that haha
Yes, that was boarding. Of the attempt to injure variety.
Clean hit to me, he definitely coasted the last bit into the hit, his elbow wasn't up, and he didn't jump...
the player would've probably had the wind knocked out of him had the glass not broke anyways, but it looks a lot worse because the glass breaks
The player who got hit posted that link over at MSH; apparently he came away with 7 stitches in the chin, no other injuries. The refs didn't call anything on the play.
Time for the rink to get rid of the cheap glass though.
haha if u listen carefully some duchebag yells "interference" haha
definitely not boarding.
sucks to have glass falling on your face though...
Wow, what a damn hit.
Exactly how I hit when I used to play before I got hurt.
