Is there anyone from the Pavel Bure mold?

last player I've seen be labeled as being in the Bure mold was NYR's 2007 1st selection Alexei Cherepanov. Outside of youtube I have no idea the type of player he was, but the fact that Jagr himself made the comparison leads me to believe there's some truth to it. Not to mention the fact that as a 17 year old he outscored Malkin, Ovechkin, and Kovalchuk when they were all 17 in the Russian Superleague

Hahah noooooooo way Grabner has faster acceleration than Bure. Have you even SEEN Bure play? He was completely dominant, he would burn defenders when you thought there was no chance he could get by them.

I've watched a lot of Grabner, thanks. I'm a Canucks fan and he was my 2nd fav player on the team, I was definitely in the group that was sorry to see him go.

That being said, he wasn't even the best skater on our team, nor the fastest. Bure on the other hand was a top 10 skater all time.
