Is there a specific game in the playoffs your team does great or terrible at?

This isn't one specific game, instead it's a streak of Toronto not winning a road playoff game in overtime. The last time it happened was Game 1 against Ottawa in 2001.

Rangers are dominant in game 7's. since 2009 they are something like 8-1 or 9-1 with lundqvist having a otherworldy good save %

Rangers always lose Game 5

They beat the caps in game 5 two years ago.

IIRC brad richards famous game tying goal also came against the caps which was also in a game 5. (they ended up winning in OT)

Didn't do a fact check to back this up but it really feels like the Hawks lose game 1 of a series more often than not

Since 2010 Hawks are 3-6 in first round playoff game 1's.

They are something 15-1 in game 6 throughout the playoffs. The only loss was against Arizona in 2012.

the caps have been able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in any game in a series.

Who did they lose to in 7? It escapes me. Was it the Caps in 08-09?

And yes. The New York Lundqvists are absurd in game 7s.

Not a specific game, but an interesting stat is despite making the playoffs 21 times, the Devils have still not been swept in a playoff series.

The Rangers almost always lose the game following a win if the win gave them a series lead. So if it's 1-0 Rangers, it'll be 1-1, if it's 2-1 Rangers it'll be 2-2 etc. So with the exception of the Canadians in 2014 and Pens in 2015, I don't think they've gone up by more than a game once in recent memory.

How many have they lost in that span?
These are their road playoff loses in overtime since that win against Ottawa.

Game 2, 2001 vs New Jersey, Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.
Game 2, 2002 vs Carolina, Eastern Conference Finals.
Game 6, 2004 vs Ottawa, Eastern Conference Quarter-Finals.
Game 7, 2013 vs Boston, Eastern Conference Quarter-Finals.

Here's another one for the Hawks. Since 2009 they are 16-3 in series clinching games. In other words, when they have three wins in the series.

The only 3 losses were in game 7's when they came back from 3-1 deficits in the series.

Vancouver 2011/St. Louis last year/Kings 2014 IIRC
