Is there a reason the playoff scheduling is really bad?

Sunday we had THREE games on within a 4 hour window. ON A SUNDAY. Then Monday there's only one game. Now on Tuesday we have two Western conference games on and tomorrow we have two Eastern conference games on, so now we cannot fully enjoy/watch both games on each day.

Just wondering if there's a good reason behind this poor scheduling.

The Anaheim game was supposed to be Saturday night instead of Sunday, but I heard there was a boxing match or something.

Exactly. But it is Gary's priority, hence the new playoff format which eliminates the Canadian teams in the first two rounds.

With stretching ability like that, maybe you should be one of the goalies in the conference finals.

It can't be that the Canadiens aren't scoring goals. It *must* be Gary Bettman's fault.

we should not be getting 2 east games 1 night and 2 west the next, why do we have to choose? it should be 1 east/1 west so fans can watch both games

They could just force 8:45 local start times on the second east matchup like they do central teams to space games out.

Yeah funny how 2 Eastern games played last night at 7 and 730 EST on 2 different channels but Central teams continue to get 8:45 local starts after the 6pm eastern games are finished. Couldnt start the Central games at 7-730 local time heaven forbid
