He will be around that I would assume.
As the season wears on give him some practice days off, morning skates.

If he can't handle a starters workload that is definately a cause for concern.

All starters who win cups have not been playing over 65+ games on average.

There is such a simple solution to this that I don't get why most people(especially on the radio) haven't figured it out.

Ideally you DO play Sparks against a team before the next back to back, it will help him and Andersen.

You start him against a Western Conference team, it's that simple.

Western Conference games are like bonus games anyways, they don't hurt you in the standing as much as losing to a team in the east.

Monday against the Kings is when I start sparks.

Back-up vs Back-up.

And "modern" day starters who have won cups most all have played around the 60 game mark

Yeah that’s the point.. for the starter to play 60 not 65.

Sparks starting tonight but not by Babcock choice.

Looks like Babcock may be prepared to run Andersen into the ground like Hainsey last year.

Life's pretty good when the rants are about playing the terrible back up goalie more.

Great response.

Sparks can sit. That's the job. Andersen likes to play a lot of games, and Babcock likes to start him. So that's how it's going to be. If Andy is playing back to backs in the last 10 of the season, then maybe we can be concerned. But the system works right now.
