That is going to be a tough question to answer until he actually plays in the NHL.

1. He was signed this summer with the intention that he play this year for TPS.

2. He is expected to be at 2004-05 camp and compete for a job.

He has decent size, and good hockey sense but needs to work on his strength and skating. His scoring touch has also been put into question.

As of right now, I would look at him as a two way player but not an elite scorer.

Upside: Bobby Holik

Expectation: Similar to Patrik Stefan

It is up to you whether you consider that a bust.

I think he can do it. And the the Wilds staff said it'll take some years before Koivu reach the NHL, so let just wait before saying he's a real deception. With is playmaking ability, his vision of the ice and his physical, he'll be at least a 4th liner, but he can go on the 1st or the 2nd line if he develops well.

I think he's NHL material. In fact, he was one of my favorites the year he was drafted.

My expectations are a player similar to Radek Bonk.
